Flex Card Member Information

We want to make purchasing approved products on your Flex Card as easy as possible. Below are a few things to keep in mind when using your Flex Card.

Before you can use your Flex Card, you must activate it and create a PIN. This is a security measure to ensure only you are able to access your funds.

Activating your card is simple, and we provide multiple options to help make this as convenient as possible for you!

  • Activate By Phone
    • Call 1-833-952-2771 (TTY 711)
    • Select 1 to activate by yourself using the automated process
    • Select 5 to activate with the help of a representative. Please note, our representatives are available Monday − Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time.
  • Activate Online
    • Login to your Vantage Member Portal and click Access Your Flex Card from the homepage.
    • Login or register for your Vantage Flex Card Online Account. From here click My Account and select Activate Card from the dropdown.
    • Enter the last 4 digits of your card and choose a PIN.
    • Click Activate Card.

Eyewear

You can use your annual eyewear allowance in-person at a participating retail provider. You can find an in-person participating retail provider by calling (833) 952-2771 (TTY 711). Our phone lines are open Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time.

Over-the-Counter (OTC) Supplies

There are 3 ways to use your OTC Flex benefit:

  1. Saint John Pharmacy OTC Mail Order — Call (833) 373-3682 to place your OTC order over the phone. Our Saint John Pharmacy OTC team is available Monday − Friday, 7 am − 6 pm to take your order over the phone.
  2. Vantage OTC Mail Order − Call (833) 952-2771 to order from Vantage’s OTC Mail Order catalog. If you prefer online shopping, log in to your Vantage Member Portal and click the Vantage Flex link to order your OTC online. Online ordering through your Member Portal at Members.VantageHealthPlan.com is available 24/7! Your online order will be shipped to you within 10-14 days.
  3. Retail Locations − Check our participating retailer directories located at Flex.VantageHealthPlan.com for the nearest Flex location! DeSiard Pharmacy Network (DPN) pharmacies, Walmart, CVS, Kroger, and Albertsons are a few of the retailers that can accept the Vantage Flex card.

Healthy Foods

Vantage Dual Plus members can purchase healthy grocery and food items in-person at a participating retail provider. You can find an in-person participating retail provider by calling (833) 952-2771 (TTY 711). Our phone lines are open Monday − Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Central Time.

No, your Flex Card must be used for in-person purchases. It won't work using a retailer's website or app.

Your card may be declined for one of these reasons:

  • maxed-out allowance amounts
  • card not activated
  • trying to use your card for cash, at ATMs, or to make online/app purchases, or
  • attempting a use at a non-participating retailer.

We want to ensure you can start using your benefits as soon as possible! If you believe you have not yet received your Flex Card, please call us at (833) 952-2771 (TTY 711). Please note, it can take up to 10 business days to receive your new card.

Accidents happen! If you believe you accidentally threw away or lost your Flex Card, please call us at (833) 952-2771 (TTY 711). You can also report your card as lost or stolen through the Vantage Flex link in your Member Portal. A new card can be mailed you a new card if needed. Please note, it can take up to 10 business days to receive your new card.
