Navitus Health Solutions

Navitus Health Solutions (Navitus) is Vantage Health Plan’s contracted Pharmacy Benefit Manager, often known simply as a "PBM”. PBM’s are responsible for processing and paying prescription drug claims within a prescription benefit plan. PBM’s also help to encourage the use of safe, effective, lower-cost medications, including generic drugs, so that you may have the best possible health outcomes.

Log in to your Vantage Member Portal, click the “Pharmacy” tab, and then the Navitus logo or “Navitus Member Portal” link to access the Navitus Member Portal. In the Navitus Member Portal, you can:

• Find your drug cost and out-of-pocket expenses
• Begin a formulary exceptions process for noncovered drugs
• Order a refill of an existing, unexpired prescription
• Find the location of an in-network pharmacy near you or within a certain zip code
• Find potentially harmful drug interactions and unsafe combinations of prescription medications. This can help you determine if your medications have any adverse interactions with each other, result in unwanted side effects, or change the effectiveness of certain medications.
• Find your drug’s common side effects or potential risks
• See if there is a generic substitution for brand name drugs. For example, if you are taking brand name Crestor, you will find that rosuvastation is a cheaper, generic alternative medication. A generic drug is approved by the FDA and works in the same way as its brand-name version.
• Check for drug recalls
